Ricky Kong

Ricky grew up in Alhambra, is a second generation Chinese American from Hong Kong,

He graduated from Don Bosco Tech High School in 1994 where he majored in manufacturing and competed in cross country and track and field. He went on to earn a bachelor of science in Information Technology from Mt. Sierra College. In his extensive 18-year career, he was fortunate to have worked for AECOM (LAX Bradley Terminal Expansion Project), NEP Broadcasting (Global media, sports, and entertainment), Koncept USA (One Wilshire Data Center), and 211 LA County (Non-profit social services call center). He has played the roles of Systems Admin, Network Engineer, Project Manager, and everything in-between. Currently, Ricky runs a multi-family real estate business based in Phoenix, Arizona, focusing on rehabilitating distressed properties into safe and affordable housing. He lives in La Cañada with his two children, Abrielle and Brayden, who attend Flintridge Prep and Walden School in Pasadena, respectively.
