Meera Boghani

Meera’s college education includes an MSc in Nutrition from India and an MS in Nutrition with emphasis on public health from Tufts University in Boston. One of her most satisfying jobs was working for the federally funded Women, Infant and Children program (WIC). In WIC she worked with nutritionally “at-risk populations” of low-income pregnant women and children under 5 years of age. This program also gave her many opportunities to get involved with other organizations in the community helping this population, such as Community health centers, Head Start and foster care.
